Potential Stars

Project Overview

Mrs. Toiv, a Supervisor in a large Boro Park school, approached us to enhance her skill building program used by P3 Providers. The program, aimed at helping struggling students build their language skills, had great potential but needed professional graphic design and organization to truly shine.

Strategy Development

Through our discovery process, we identified the key attributes the brand needed to convey:

  • Professional

  • Organized

  • Engaging

  • Effective

  • Supportive

We conducted detailed discussions with Mrs. Toiv to understand the program's specific needs and goals. This thorough preparation ensured that our design choices would align perfectly with the program's objectives.

The Solution

The final result was a comprehensive set of branded materials for the skill building program. This included:

  • A beautiful, eye-catching logo that represented the program's personality

  • Neatly organized and easy-to-read documents

  • Engaging and effective flashcards

  • A consistent visual style across all program materials

These materials were designed to be both visually appealing and highly functional, supporting the program's goal of helping struggling students build their language skills.

The Challenge

Our task was to:

  • Create an eye-catching logo that represented the program's essence

  • Design and organize documents and flash cards for ease of use

  • Ensure the materials were neat, organized, and easy to read

  • Maintain consistency across all program materials

  • Enhance the program's effectiveness through improved visual design

The challenge lay in translating a detailed educational program into visually appealing and functional materials that would engage students and facilitate learning.

Creative Process

We began by creating a logo that captured the essence of the skill building program. The design process involved selecting appropriate colors, fonts, and imagery that would resonate with both educators and students.

Following the logo design, we moved on to creating the program materials. This included:

  • Designing documents that were clear, organized, and easy to follow

  • Creating flashcards that were visually appealing and effective for learning

  • Ensuring consistency in design across all materials

  • Incorporating feedback and making adjustments as needed

Throughout the process, we maintained open communication with Mrs. Toiv, allowing for quick adjustments and ensuring the final product met all expectations.

Results & Impact

Mrs. Toiv's feedback on the project was overwhelmingly positive. She shared:

"Mrs. Klein courteously listened to all my detailed requests with patience and understanding. She created a beautiful, eye-catching logo with colors, fonts and personality to suit my business name. ... The sheets and flashcards that Mrs. Klein has created have made a big difference in the lives of numerous struggling students."

The redesigned program materials have significantly enhanced the effectiveness of the skill building program. They have made a tangible difference in the lives of struggling students, helping them to build crucial language skills.

Mrs. Toiv further commented on the process and outcome:

"Mrs. Klein then created documents and flash cards which were neat, organized and easy to read. She was very available throughout the project for questions and corrections. In her efficient manner she successfully designed a detailed program with grace!"

The project not only met but exceeded expectations, transforming a promising program into a visually appealing, well-organized, and highly effective educational tool. The new materials have enhanced the program's impact, benefiting both educators and students in the Boro Park community.
